2025 in review
As we head rapidly towards the end of the year, we wanted to take the opportunity to look back on what has been a really great year!
Over 2025, team OIS has delivered over 1,900 appointments for our patients - human, canine and equine alike.
Around the mid year point, we became acutely aware of the increasing wait time for appointments with Jim and Gee, and when this became a key concern we made the decision to grow team OIS and bring onboard a like-minded, experienced osteopath to further support our patient base and also to bring some new skills to the team - and so our team grew and we welcomed Craig!
With Craig onboard, we have opened up more days for more appointments and are now, for the first time in OIS history, able to offer weekend and some limited evening appointments - team OIS is now available 6 days a week.
These team developments mean that our patients are now able to see one of us on average within 3 days of needing us - a massive improvement on where we were in the summer, and still an average of 27 days sooner than seeing an NHS physio!
A proud team moment saw Gee nominated and shortlisted as finalist for the national IO awards for her and OIS trusted partner Starling Equine Vets’ whole horse approach to equine healthcare. Sadly they didn’t bag the win, but that hasn’t stopped Gee being the busiest Practitioner in the whole team.
On the subject of partnerships, we have developed our animal osteo offering to work in close partnership with Starling Equine Vets - a first for our sector and the start of the step-change in animal care we have always dreamed of delivering.
In addition to all of the great work we do in clinic, we’ve also invested in our back office systems to improve and streamline our admin, allowing us to spend more time focused on delivering care to our patients.
So that’s a wrap on 2025, and we already have plans developing for 2026 - to provide improved access for patients to our services and a sustained growth to our practice.
